About Gideon
Gideon S. Bell is a partner at KMB Law and a member of its Real Estate and Land Development and Banking and Financial Services groups. He began his career on an in-house legal team advising small and medium-sized land developers and builders in the Golden Horseshoe. At KMB Law, Gideon helps developers and builders secure the permits and approvals needed to plan and build residential, industrial and commercial projects, and his work spans land purchases and sales, severances, site plan approval, and subdivision and condominium registration. He also assists clients in arranging institutional and private financing and structuring joint ventures and development agreements, alongside a broader real estate practice covering commercial and residential purchases, sales and leasing. Gideon has a particular interest in urban renewal, sustainable development and brownfield redevelopment. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2017 after earning a B.A. with distinction from Huron University College at Western University and a J.D. from the University of Ottawa, and was recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2023.
