Business & Corporate LawGerald Pugh has practiced law as a sole practitioner in New Brunswick since 1982, focusing on family law and divorce, real estate, wills and estates, corporate matters, criminal defence, civil litigation, small claims and contract law, and personal injury. He has appeared before the Provincial Court and each division of the Court of Queen's Bench in New Brunswick. Pugh graduated from Saint Thomas University in Fredericton with a Bachelor of Arts in 1979 and earned a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1981, joining the New Brunswick Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association in February 1982. He was appointed an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of New Brunswick in 1999 and has served as Deputy Clerk and Deputy Administrator of the Court of Queen's Bench and Deputy Clerk of the Probate Court in the Fredericton judicial district since 1986. He is also authorized to carry out duties as Deputy Registrar of the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick and performs marriages.
