About Georgialee

Georgialee Lang is a family law litigator, arbitrator, and appellate advocate with 32 years of experience. She has argued dozens of cases before the British Columbia Court of Appeal, including several leading family law decisions, and appeared as counsel in three Supreme Court of Canada cases: Stein v. Stein (2008), Rick v. Brandsema (2009), and Attorney General v. Bedford (2013). She serves as the Family Law Coordinator for the British Columbia Court of Appeal Pro Bono Program, reviewing and providing appeal opinions on cases. She is a member of the Supreme Court of Canada Advocacy Institute and coaches lawyers preparing to argue before the Supreme Court of Canada. Her practice covers mediation, arbitration, litigation strategy, and appellate advocacy in family law.
