About George
George Siotas joined Blackburn Lawyers in 2002 after several years defending insurance companies against personal injury, disability and denied-claim cases. That experience convinced him he wanted to advocate for injured people rather than insurers, and since joining the firm he has devoted his practice to victims of personal injury, families who lost a loved one to another's negligence, and clients whose disability, life, home or business insurance claims were wrongly denied. His background on the defence side has helped him earn respect from insurance companies and the lawyers who represent them, which he uses to his clients' advantage. George has lectured on personal injury and insurance issues to both lawyers and healthcare professionals, and he belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the York Region Law Association.
