About Gabriel

Gabriel Chand founded Chand & Company Law Corporation in 2007. He has extensive litigation experience, having appeared before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Federal Court of Canada, the British Columbia Provincial Court, the British Columbia Supreme Court, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and has appeared as lead counsel in proceedings before the Supreme Court of Canada. Gabriel was an instructor at the University of British Columbia for over 20 years and served as a public representative on the Discipline Committee of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants, the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Committee, and the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants for over 15 years. He has given speeches, seminars, and workshops on immigration-related issues across Canada and internationally, including in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Mexico, and Argentina. Gabriel represents Canadian companies addressing labour needs by assisting skilled foreign workers, and has commented on immigration, refugee, and human rights issues in local and national media.
