About François

François Bourdon founded Bourdon Avocats in 1984, initially offering civil law services before shifting his focus to family law in 1990. His practice today covers all forms of dispute resolution in family law, including mediation, negotiation, collaborative law, and litigation, and he has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Québec, the Régie du logement, and the Youth Division of the Court of Québec. Bourdon became an accredited civil and commercial mediator in 1995 and an accredited family mediator in 1999, and he has supervised the training of articling students throughout his career. He is regularly asked by media outlets to comment on family law issues.
