About Francis

Francis Taman is a partner at Bishop & McKenzie who brings a solicitor's background to enforcing personal and commercial loans in the firm's Calgary office. He also advises clients planning their estates and those handling the aftermath of a loved one's death, drawing on a corporate and trusts background to achieve restructurings for complex situations. Francis has been recognized as a Pro-Bono Law Alberta Distinguished Volunteer and has spoken at conferences in Canada, the US, and Australia. He holds a BA, a B.Ed. with Distinction, and an LLB, all from the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1997.
