About Francis

Francis Hemmings is a lawyer at St-Aubin Avocats, called to the bar in 2011 after earning an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal. He has more than 14 years of experience in civil, commercial and succession litigation, managing complex and urgent files through negotiation and court proceedings before Quebec courts at all levels. His work includes will contestations, claims to annul acts affected by undue influence or incapacity, protection mandates and liquidator accountability disputes. He also has experience in commercial litigation involving partner separations, shareholder agreements, non-compete clauses and business loss claims, and in extraordinary remedies such as Norwich and Mareva orders. He holds an earlier degree in biotechnological engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke.
