About Farah

Farah Nantel was called to the Quebec Bar in 2016 and holds an LL.B. from the University of Sherbrooke, along with certificates in French and European law from Panthéon-Assas University in Paris and in European private law from the University of Salzburg, plus a certificate in criminal law's Indigenous component from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is completing a master's in criminal law at Osgoode Hall Law School. Her practice covers criminal and penal law across Quebec's courts, and she has served on the Quebec Bar's Discipline Committee since 2019. She received the Gabriel Lapointe Prize in 2024, awarded to lawyers with ten years or less of practice who have made a distinguished legal and social impact.
