About Evelyne

Evelyne Dumas focuses on health law, including issues of informed consent to care and medical liability, along with housing law and human rights advocacy more generally. Her work with rights organizations has given her sensitivity to the challenges faced by clients and a determination to defend the rights of victims of abuse. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and international law as well as a law degree, both from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Before joining Lapointe Légal, she completed her Bar articling at the Human Rights Tribunal under the Honourable Madeleine Aubé, and she is currently pursuing a specialized graduate diploma in health law and policy at the Université de Sherbrooke.
