About Eva

Eva Chen practises many areas of business law, including contract drafting and negotiation, commercial and residential tenancy, employment law, commercial litigation, debt collection, real estate transactions, and wills and estate planning. She received her Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 2007 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2008. Before pursuing law, Eva studied science at the University of Toronto, earning an Honours Bachelor of Science with high distinction and completing a Ph.D. in biochemistry under a cancer researcher there. During law school she volunteered with the Legal Aid Clinic and the Family Law Information Centre at Kingston's Unified Family Court, as well as with Pro Bono Canada. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Durham Region Law Association, the Rotary Club of York, and the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto.
