About Erin

Erin Brook was called to the bar in Alberta, where she practised generally before working in the Fraser Valley as a federal prosecutor. She was called to the BC bar in 2008 and moved back to Nanaimo in 2010. Erin has been active in the legal community, serving as the VIU Senate Alumni Representative for four years and as Past President of the VIU Alumni Association Board. She has held numerous roles with the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch, including on the Section Standing Committee, the Business of Law Committee, and the Professional Development Committee, and has chaired the Nanaimo Family Law Section and the Nanaimo County Bar Association. She currently chairs the CBABC Family Law Committee and continues to advocate for family law clients and lawyers. Erin practises family law, general litigation, employment law, and wills and estates, and also offers independent legal advice and notary services.
