About Eric

Eric Dolden is a founding partner of the firm and has specialized in insurance law for 46 years. His trial work covers the full range of cases liability insurers defend, including the class actions arising from the XL Foods recall, a debt consolidation class certification, a case examining a law firm's alleged breach of fiduciary duty, a 104-day trial involving catastrophic brain injury, and disputes over the legal relationship between insurers and brokers. His practice areas include professional liability defence for architects, engineers, and other professionals, cyber breach coverage and response, and complex coverage disputes, and he has served as counsel in several Supreme Court of Canada cases addressing insurance coverage questions.
