About Emma Robertson

Emma Robertson practises personal injury law with Goldfinger Injury Lawyers in Toronto. Emma's grandparents worked hard all their lives and, more than once, faced trouble that wasn't their fault and could have used a strong legal advocate, yet never had one. Hardworking people like them are who Emma fights for.

Emma came to law with a background in sales, which cemented a wish to serve people and get results. Returning to school as a mature student, Emma finished an honours BA at the University of Toronto in 2016 and was picked for a trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina that led to published work. A law degree in the UK at the University of Leicester came next, finished in 2018, with a turn as Vice President of the school's Information and Technology Society along the way.

Back home, Emma cleared the NCA exams and the Law Practice Program, then worked as a student-at-law at a Toronto firm on the plaintiff side of injury work. The call to the bar followed in 2023, and Emma stayed in personal injury before joining Goldfinger, with experience in court and before a tribunal.

Emma's approach with clients is one of compassion and empathy, and plaintiff work has convinced Emma that people wronged by others do have recourse. Away from the office, Emma loves music, cooks and bakes for fun, is keen on travel, and likes to stay active and get outside.
