About Emily

Emily Annand grew up in Truro, Nova Scotia, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Acadia University in 2016, where she was a three-time CIS Academic All-Canadian. She taught English in South Korea before returning to Nova Scotia to complete her Juris Doctor at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2023, including a summer term at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. She articled at Carruthers MacDonell & Robson beginning in May 2023, was called to the bar in June 2024, and joined the firm as an Associate focusing on family law and estate planning.
