About Em

Em Pedota has experience supporting clients through complex and sensitive legal matters, with a background in administrative law, client advocacy and legal research. Before entering private practice, Em Pedota worked as a staff lawyer and articling student at Scarborough Community Legal Services, managing income support appeals, housing matters and high-conflict disputes, and completed a first-year summer placement with Legal Assistance of Windsor conducting client intake and public legal education. Em Pedota earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, reaching the semi-finals of the Tort Law Moot and receiving a Pass with Distinction in the Legal Research and Writing Moot, and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law from McMaster University.
