About Ellen

Ellen Weiss is an associate at Kelly D. Jordan Family Law, practicing across the spectrum of family law matters, including domestic contracts, parenting disputes, support, property claims and divorce. She completed the joint Law and Master of Social Work degree offered at the University of Toronto, and was called to the bar in 2024. Before joining the firm, she summered and articled at the Ministry of the Attorney General's Office of the Children's Lawyer, representing children's interests in child protection, family law and wills and estates matters. She earlier completed a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology and Biology at the University of Guelph. During law school she volunteered with Downtown Legal Services, the University of Toronto's student legal clinic, and completed practicum placements at Covenant House and the Office of the Chief Coroner's Child and Youth Death Review Unit.
