About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Kinhnicki obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2012. While in law school, she volunteered with the Student Legal Association, completed a placement with Legal Aid Alberta, and worked as a student lawyer for two Calgary family law firms. She is a litigator who has represented clients at all three levels of Alberta courts, the Court of Justice, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal, and has represented thousands of clients over her career. She regularly appears in rural courthouses as Duty Counsel, assisting self-represented litigants in Morning Chambers. Elizabeth is a member of the Alberta Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Canadian Bar Association.
