About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Clot is the founder of Clot Avocats, specializing in business law with extensive experience in financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate structuring. She drafts and negotiates the contracts her clients need, working with private investors, investment funds and private companies in new technologies, traditional industries and the life sciences. Before founding her own firm in 1995, she spent close to twelve years with a global engineering and construction company, then joined a downtown Montreal firm in 1993. She is a member of the Barreau du Québec, has served as counsel to the French Consulate General in Montreal and the Office des Migrations Internationales, and has sat on the boards of several organizations, including the Fondation du Maire de Montréal pour la Jeunesse and Réseau Anges Québec.
