Edward H. Royle is the founding lawyer of the firm that bears his name, founded in 2010 after more than 25 years as a partner at Canada's largest criminal defence firm. Graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1981, his practice has focused exclusively on criminal law for the last 40 years, with an emphasis on constitutional and Charter issues, and he was counsel in the landmark case of R. v. Parks on jury racial bias.
