About DT

DT Vollmer is an associate at Resilient LLP, supporting the firm's climate change law, carbon transaction and Indigenous rights practice. His work covers energy and climate regulatory matters, business and human rights, and climate-related financial risk, and he advises proponents and investors on the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, free, prior and informed consent, and the duty to consult. He regularly appears before administrative tribunals including the Ontario Energy Board. DT holds a Doctor of Laws in public international human rights law and an LLB from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, plus a B.A. in international studies from the University of Denver. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2020 and previously worked as a legal intern with the International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute.
