About Dorela
Dorela Sinani founded Sinani Law and holds a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary. She previously practised immigration law at one of Calgary's largest immigration firms, representing individual and corporate clients. Her practice covers refugee claims and pre-removal risk assessments, humanitarian and compassionate applications, temporary resident visas and study permits, LMIA and LMIA-exempt work permits, express entry applications, spousal sponsorship applications and appeals, and criminal and medical inadmissibility and misrepresentation matters. She regularly appears before the Federal Court and Immigration and Refugee Board divisions. Dorela is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
