About Donnie

Donnie M. Apodaca practices primarily in insurance coverage and complex litigation, with substantial experience handling multi-party disputes in both state and federal courts. His litigation work has included claims for breach of contract and warranty, indemnity disputes, consumer protection violations, fraud, bad faith, and business tort matters. He regularly represents insurance carriers and adjusters in first-party coverage disputes and bad faith claims, and counsels clients on policy interpretation and the appraisal process. Donnie has also represented individuals and businesses in litigation involving catastrophic injuries and product liability, and he has worked on discovery-intensive matters such as class actions and multi-district litigation, including managing e-discovery projects and drafting related protocols. He earned his law degree cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he interned with the Innocence Project of Texas and belonged to the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Donnie holds an honors bachelor's degree in finance from New Mexico State University, where he served on the student Senate.
