About Divya
Divya Chawla is an associate with Osler's Tax Group in Calgary, working on tax disputes, international tax matters, and tax planning. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and completed her articles in 2024 and 2025. Chawla holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, a Master of Public Health specializing in health policy from Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science from Western University. She has research and teaching experience, having worked as an academic success tutor and teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and as a researcher at NHS England and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on health policy projects, with her research presented at international conferences. Chawla also played varsity women's golf at both the University of Calgary and Western University.
