About Derek

Derek Miller earned an Honours BA in Political Science and History with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 1992 and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1996. He has practised law in the Huntsville area since 1998 and established The Miller Law Group in 2003. His practice covers business law, estate planning, business succession, and estate administration, as well as expropriation matters affecting clients whose land or businesses are impacted by infrastructure construction. He also owns several other businesses in the Muskoka area.
