About Derek
Derek M. Schiissler is a Lawyer at Litco Law practising personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil litigation, including alternative dispute resolution. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (2011) and a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law (2015), and was called to the Alberta bar in 2016 and the British Columbia bar in 2017. He joined Litco Law in 2016 after articling and working at a national corporate law firm, previously acting for insurance companies before moving to representing injured plaintiffs, and has appeared before the Alberta Court of King's Bench and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Alberta.
