L. Douglas Rae is a Barrister and Solicitor and the founder of Rae and Company. He has more than 50 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and litigation matters, with an emphasis on natural resources and Aboriginal law, and has appeared before administrative tribunals, provincial superior courts, the Federal Court, appellate courts, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has represented oil and gas-producing First Nations across multiple provinces and territories on land claims, resource agreements, pipeline projects, and renewable energy initiatives. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of the Northwest Territories.
