About Derek

Derek I. Bondt is a partner with Key Murray Law, practicing primarily out of the Summerside office and also meeting clients in Charlottetown. He began with the firm as a summer student and articling clerk before joining as an associate, and has appeared at all levels of court in Prince Edward Island. Derek earned both a Juris Doctor and a licence in civil law from the University of Ottawa's Canadian Law Program in 2016 and is fluent in French and English. He practices in administrative law, business and corporate law, criminal law, litigation and dispute resolution, personal injury, property and real estate law, and wills and estates. Derek is active in his community, sitting on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Summerside and its foundation, the Prince County Hospital Foundation, and the Community Foundation.
