About Deborah

Deborah (Debby) is an incoming second-year law student at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. Before law school she completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Honours at the University of Regina, researching the affordability of energy transition. She interned with the Law Society of Saskatchewan, volunteered as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance representing low-income Calgarians in Provincial Court, and served as 1L Representative of Pro Bono Students Canada at the University of Calgary. In May 2026 she joined Donna Purcell QC Law through the UCalgary Law Legal Innovation Internship.
