About Davies

Davies Bagambiire is the CEO of Davies Bagambiire Professional Corporation, which he founded in Halifax in 1979 after emigrating from Uganda to study law at Dalhousie Law School. He was admitted to the Bar of Nova Scotia in 1979 and later became the first Executive Director of the Indigenous Blacks and Micmacs Programme at Dalhousie, teaching administrative, commercial, and immigration law as an associate professor. He relocated to Toronto in 1994 to lead the African Canadian Legal Clinic before returning to private practice in 1996.
