David Sykes advises entrepreneurs, professionals, family-owned businesses, and investors in corporate and commercial law, employment law, and complex tax reorganizations. He acts for both purchasers and vendors in share and asset transactions and structures shareholder agreements, succession plans, and corporate reorganizations, including estate freezes and other tax-driven restructurings. Before practicing law, he founded and operated businesses in construction and international sport, including importing goods from China and developing sporting facilities abroad. He serves on the board of Alternative Residences Alternatives Inc., a Moncton organization supporting people who need assisted housing, and he is fluent in English and French.
