About David

David Rosner heads Goodmans' Competition and Foreign Investment Group, providing strategic advice on Canadian competition law, particularly for complex mergers in regulated industries and cases involving multi-jurisdictional review. He also advises on behavioral matters under Canadian competition law and on mergers subject to the Investment Canada Act. Drawing on experience at an international law firm outside Canada, David applies current international competition law developments to his Canadian practice. In 2020, he was the only Canadian named to Global Competition Review's 40 under 40, and in 2019 he was named one of Lexpert's Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40. Clients have described him as 'a sharp thinker with great analytical capabilities' who offers 'straightforward practical advice.'
