About David

David Klein is the managing partner, running a class action practice that operates nationally. He served as plaintiffs' counsel in the first class actions certified in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario judges have appointed him to represent the interests of British Columbians in several Ontario proceedings. David served as the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association's president during 1998-99 and has written two legal texts, in addition to delivering more than 100 papers and presentations to bar groups and legal education bodies across Canada and the U.S. He belongs to the bars of British Columbia, Ontario, and Washington State, called in 1992, 1980, and 1995 respectively. His case work has touched on environmental matters, deceptive marketing, pension and retirement benefits, food poisoning outbreaks, defective drugs and medical devices, institutional negligence, and securities misrepresentation.
