Employment & Labour LawHughes practises First Nations and Aboriginal law, business, corporate and commercial law, and employment law, and has extensive experience advising First Nation governments across British Columbia on land claims, governance and employment matters. He holds an LL.M. with Distinction from the University of Southampton, where he won the School Prize for Best LL.M. Dissertation, and a J.D. from the University of Toronto, where he received the Gowlings Prize in Trial Advocacy and the McRuer Scholarship in Administrative Law. He serves as a Governor of the Law Foundation of British Columbia and as a Director of the Kamloops Food Bank.
