David How is an associate in the Aboriginal Law Group at Cassels, where he advises Indigenous, government, and industry clients on Indigenous self-governance, the duty to consult, historic treaty claims and settlement negotiations, Indigenous-Crown relations, and Aboriginal rights and title. He also assists in civil litigation matters, complex investigations, and judicial review proceedings and is currently on the Executive of the CBA's national Aboriginal law and SAGDA sections.
