About David

David Ferguson is a Vancouver criminal defence lawyer who represents clients charged with or under investigation for criminal and regulatory offences at all levels of court in British Columbia and across Canada. He completed a Master's degree at the University of Toronto before returning to British Columbia to attend law school at the University of British Columbia, where he won awards in Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Advocacy. He trained early in his career with one of Canada's busiest criminal law firms before being called to the British Columbia Bar. David acts as a supervising lawyer with the Law Students Legal Advice Program, lectures for Continuing Legal Education courses, and works on access to justice initiatives in British Columbia. His practice covers crimes of violence, drug offences, sexual allegations, firearms, fraud and theft, and driving charges.
