About Darcy

Darcy Merkur's practice focuses on helping accident victims and their families recover after serious motor vehicle accidents and other traumatic events. He is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in Civil Litigation and has been recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada for his personal injury work. The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association presented him with the Dean Edgell Award for his contributions to legal writing, continuing education, and leadership. Darcy speaks regularly at personal injury conferences, has published numerous articles on the subject, and created the Ontario Personal Injury Damages Calculator. He was also the first lawyer in Canada to be qualified as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist by the Brain Injury Association of America. Darcy earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in 1995 and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998.
