About Danielle
Danielle Robitaille serves as Managing Partner at Henein Hutchison Robitaille, overseeing the firm's strategic direction while running an active investigations practice. As a certified workplace investigator, she handles sensitive matters that touch on regulatory issues, allegations of fraud, ethics breaches, and misconduct in the workplace, across sectors that include education, government, sports organizations, and entertainment. Companies often turn to her during crises to develop a response process or to make impartial policy recommendations. Her past appointments include senior counsel to Justice Michael Tulloch on the Independent Police Oversight Review from 2016 to 2017, and independent compliance monitor for the U.S. Federal Court's Eastern District of New York in a 2024 deferred prosecution agreement. Danielle is also a litigator who has defended clients in criminal, regulatory, and disciplinary proceedings before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. She earned her Honours BA from the University of Toronto and her LLB from Dalhousie University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007.
