About Kenneth
Kenneth J. Peacocke is a barrister and solicitor who has practised law for over 35 years, with a focus on written advocacy and appellate matters. He earned an Honours B.A. from Carleton University in 1983 and graduated from Western University's law school in 1988, before being admitted to the Ontario bar in March 1990. He founded his firm in 1990 and has prepared legal submissions and facta for the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court (Court of Appeal and Trial Division), and leave applications to the Supreme Court of Canada. He has argued appeals and motions before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court, and taught Legal Research and Professional Responsibility for the Bar Admission Course from 1992 to 2005. He has also written papers on appellate advocacy for the Law Society of Upper Canada and law association conferences.
