About Tim

Tim Sportschuetz is a construction lawyer and construction mediator practising builders lien registration and enforcement, contract drafting, commercial real estate, delay and deficiency claims, payment and performance bonds, and alternative dispute resolution. He holds a Juris Doctor with a business law concentration from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and dual undergraduate degrees, summa cum laude, in Accounting & Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University. He also completed certificates in Construction Law at Osgoode Hall Law School and in Mediation and Dispute Resolution. Before law, he worked as a general contractor and infrastructure project operations executive, experience he draws on in procurement, costing, crane agreements, and multi-party construction negotiations.
