About Dale
Dale Melville is a criminal defence lawyer based in the Lower Mainland who represents clients on a wide range of criminal charges, from domestic assault to murder, in courts across British Columbia. He began his career articling at a busy criminal-law firm in Victoria, and as a junior associate he took part in a first-degree murder trial. His first Supreme Court trial ended in a not-guilty verdict on a drug trafficking charge, and his first jury trial resulted in not-guilty verdicts on all nine counts before the court, including use of a firearm, unlawful confinement, and assault causing bodily harm. In 2014 he left his associate position in Victoria to start his own practice in the Lower Mainland, and he has since appeared at every level of court in the province.
