About Dale
Dale Barrett founded Barrett Tax Law shortly after being called to the bar in 2009, building it into a national tax law boutique. He was educated at McGill University Law School, where he earned degrees in both civil and common law, and articled at Torys LLP before starting his own practice. He and his team represent clients before the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax authorities on matters including voluntary disclosures, audits, reassessments, and tax litigation, with experience before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and several provincial courts. Dale also maintains a broad corporate commercial practice, advising clients from incorporation through amalgamations, reorganizations, and eventual sale. He has written several books on Canadian tax matters and speaks English, French, and Spanish.
