D. Jared Brown is a Toronto lawyer and Lead Counsel at Brown Litigation, and a former Bencher (Governor) of the Law Society of Ontario. His practice is restricted to advising on and managing risk for organizations, institutions and businesses, including contracts, employment matters and mission-critical litigation. He regularly appears before all levels of Courts and Tribunals in Canada, including the Superior Court and Court of Appeal, and in domestic and international arbitrations. Brown has testified on legal issues before the Canadian Senate Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee and is regularly sought by media and legal publications for comment on legal matters. His areas of practice include contract disputes, collection of accounts, creditor rights, employment litigation, fiduciary duties, commercial tenancy matters, real property disputes and construction lien litigation.
