Brown holds a B.A. from the University of Windsor (1998) and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law (2001), and was called to the Ontario bar in 2002. Brown is a former Bencher (Governor) of the Law Society of Ontario and has testified on legal issues before the Canadian Senate's Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee.
