About Colin

Colin McElrea is a partner at George Murray Shipley Bell, LLP, practising corporate law, land development, real estate, and wills and estates. Born and raised in Sarnia, he earned an honours degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 and his Juris Doctor from the same institution in 2014. He began his career as a summer student at the firm in 2013, articled in 2014-2015, joined as an associate after his call to the Bar in 2015, and became a partner in 2021. Colin serves on the Board of Directors of the Bluewater Health Foundation.
