About Clemence

Clemence Chu is an associate at Hodder, Wang LLP. She completed her J.D. at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022. Before joining the firm, she spent two years on Bay Street as an associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, working on matters including Dream Industrial REIT's $5.9 billion acquisition of Summit Industrial Income REIT and CNH Industrial's acquisition of Hemisphere GNSS. A native of Beijing, she also holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and history and a master's degree in international business law from L'Universite Toulouse Capitole in France, and worked at L'Oreal's global headquarters in Paris. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, with intermediate reading competency in French and Italian.
