About Claudia
Claudia Mak joined Mills & Mills LLP as a summer student in 2022 and 2023, then articled there in 2024 before being called to the bar and becoming an associate in the firm's Wills and Estates Group in 2025. She now handles estate planning and estate administration matters. Prior to law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2019 and worked in several industries focused on process efficiency, before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2024. During law school, she helped users and survivors of the psychiatric system resolve housing, immigration, and family law issues through the Health Justice Clinic in Mental Health and Addictions, and created legal-information materials aimed at transgender and immigrant communities through the Windsor chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada. She is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, and serves as a Member-at-Large on the Ontario Bar Association's Elder Law Section executive team.
