About Christopher

Chris Robinson is the founder of CIR LAW Inc. Born in Montreal and raised in Halifax, he attended the Halifax Grammar School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. He began his career in the Branch Admin Training Program at the Royal Bank of Canada, managing branch administration staff across Nova Scotia, before moving into the securities industry in the early 1990s, where he rose to Vice President with two of Canada's largest investment dealers. That background in finance, securities and banking now informs his corporate and family law practice. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (trial and family divisions), the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board and the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia.
