Intellectual PropertyChristophe Masse practises commercial law with particular expertise in intellectual property, technology, and entertainment law. With more than 25 years of experience, he has advised major players in the telecommunications industry, including CBC/Radio-Canada and Quebecor Media Group, on intellectual property and technology contracts. Before joining Delegatus, Masse spent over 15 years at CBC/Radio-Canada as Senior Legal Counsel and Head of the Copyright Department, where he negotiated framework agreements with artistic associations and managed litigation and arbitration files. He also managed the Canadian Retransmission Rights Association, overseeing an annual budget of more than $10 million and increasing the association's revenues by 20 percent. Earlier in his career he was legal counsel at Loto-Québec, Quebecor Media Group, Copibec, and the Competition Bureau of Canada. Masse holds an LL.M. in information technology and intellectual property law and an LL.B., both from Université de Montréal.
