About Chris

Chris Stribopoulos has defended insurers and their insureds throughout his career, building extensive trial experience across every level of Ontario's court system. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1994, later to the Saskatchewan bar in 2024, and to the Nova Scotia bar in 2025, and now practises across all three provinces. For more than 25 years he has defended provincial and national class actions and mass tort claims, often as lead counsel. He regularly represents professionals such as insurance and mortgage brokers, financial planners, real estate agents, home inspectors, and optometrists, along with directors and officers, in individual and class proceedings. His practice also covers coverage disputes, employment claims, and property and construction losses arising from faulty workmanship and other causes. He earned his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1987 and his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1992.
